The Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts

Welcome to the Bigfork Center for Performing Arts, home to the Bigfork Summer Playhouse, the longest running repertory theater company in the North West.

The mission of the BCPA is to present a robust schedule of performing arts to the Flathead Valley, and to encourage artists and artistic companies through grants.

Located on Electric Avenue in the heart of Bigfork Village, we are honored to bring to you a full spectrum of performing arts events all year long. Bigfork Center for Performing Arts is your premier destination for great musicals and dramas produced by Bigfork Summer Playhouse and other theater companies, for dance productions by Feat by Feet and the Northwest Ballet Company, for concerts featuring singer-songwriters like Jack Gladstone and for film festivals including Glacier National Parks’ 100 year Anniversary celebration.

Just as Glacier National Park is the jewel in the crown of the national parks system, so is Bigfork the jewel of northwest Montana. No visit to Flathead Valley is complete without a stroll through Bigfork Village's eclectic shops and galleries and a meal or three in one of our many fine restaurants. Take advantage of the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi and dip your toes in the waters of Flathead Lake or fly-fish under the hydroelectric dam along the Swan River. Your vacation isn't complete until you've enjoyed one of the live theater events showing at the Bigfork Center for Performing Arts.

Our theater building has concluded an extensive renovation thanks to the generosity of the community, and the Bigfork Center for Performing Arts is now available to rent for scheduled events from banquets, receptions, and artists showings to family reunions, wedding receptions and business meetings. Enjoy our elegant and spacious lobby, large enough to host a seated dinner for 150 guests, or to accommodate 250 for mingling and socializing.  Our Theater seats 435 and is perfect for your show or conference. Our specialists can assist you in catering your event and will ensure that every detail is perfectly executed.
